Agency in entrepreneurship: preparing entrepreneurship theory for another view of context

Purpose The purpose of this article is to explore how agency distributed between human actors and nonhuman elements in entrepreneurship. Design/methodology/approach It based on an inductive longitudinal case study a garden rural community northern Sweden. methodology includes ethnography the garden, spanning course 16 years, careful investigation entrepreneurial processes contained within it. Findings This identifies describes different practices explain garden's context. Three were identified discussed, namely “calling”, “resisting”, “provoking”.
